I have become a library snob. The man next to me is typing like a psycho. He keeps pressing his fingers on the keys so they make noises louder than is aloud in the library. I think he's going to get in trouble with something like ..."excuse me sir, do you think you could refrain from typing so loudly." I may even tell on him. The craziest thing I have seen in here though is not this annoying tapper...it is that they allow people to use their cell phones in here. I cannot tell you the amount of anger that boils inside of me when the certain girl is in here and her cell phone rings often and she gets it! I mean do they not have librarians like the one's I grew up with anymore? Now you can call me a bitch, or call me rude...but can't we just turn them off for like 20 minutes while you use the computer? Yet, even while typing this I am thrown into a place where my snobbery and my real self collide. She lost her job the day we met. I overheard her on her cell phone explaining what happened. And to this day, she is still in here as often as I am. Still looking for a job. Don't lift your nose at her Kristen. What would you be doing if you were out of a job, unable to afford your rent? Um, let's see...move to Omaha and re-do Kate's basement with her to make up for lack of rent? Go bankrupt and start over again somewhere warm? But for real, would you be so focused. My cell phone glasses wearing mama is at the library daily fixing her resume, looking for jobs online, taking classes on computers. Have some patience o nobby one!
