What are my #'s again?

So this is Christmas!

Dec. 25th 7:30 pm, Fox and the Hound...Schaumburg Illinois

Robyn and Bradly came to town to visit Robyn's family and I got to hang out with them. It's snowing out and we decide to play pool and have a few rounds.
1st Round: A coke, Two Woodchuck's and a Killian's Red
1st game: Robyn's 1-5, I'm 6-10 and Brad's 11-15
2nd game: Brad's 1-5, I'm 6-10 and Robyn's 11-15
3rd game: Same...
4th game: Roby and I switch #'s and Brad comes up with a cheer..."Kristen, kristen she's our girl...if she can't do it? Na na na nanana na na na na squirrel!"
5th game: We switch back
Point of the game...get everyone else's balls in before yours. If you win, you are 1-5...guess who's ruling the table?
2nd Round: A guiness and a woodchuck
Game 6-10: Brad.
Game 11!!!!! Kristen and Robyn decide they have had enough and are kindly referred to as "the Squirrels" now.

Here comes a big switch
Game 12: KRISTEN 1-5, Brad 6-10 and Robyn 11-15
3rd Round: Two very large shots of Patron Gold, 2 limes and smiles all around

Games 13-18 were slower games...induced by a lot of great conversation...and probably something called T.S.S. aka: Tipsy Shooting Syndrome. I think Brad just cleared the table a couple of times and we sat back and watched.
4th Round: A shot of Patron, A PBR drink called a Pabst Shmear (PBR, OJ, Cran and a shot of Amaretto) and a woodchuck
Ordered at 11:45. We have a great conversation with our server about how busy it was getting and told him to not worry, we all understood (being in the service industry and all). The hard part was that 45 minutes later, our drinks arrived. And this is how they came...
1 shot of patron (much smaller than the last) and no lime
1 bottle of PBR. No Oj, (apparently they ran out), no cran, no amaretto
1 Woodchuck (no complaints there, except that it took 45 min)

And our server didn't even bring them over, some other chuckhead did. Now here's the deal...
45 min? NO.
And wrong drinks after that? NO.
Yes, we all are in the industry so therefor we understand a lot of things at play here...we understand a busy night. We understand also that if you are one of the only bars open on Christmas night, PLAN AHEAD. You should not run out of OJ on a busy night where you were expecting a busy night. Ever heard of back STOCK anyone? And if you do run out...there is plenty of person's available to run to the local JJ Peppers across the street and pick you up 10 gallons. We also understand that when you are busy the very best thing to do is have your tables pay right away. You bring over the tab, or you get a credit card...otherwise you run the possiblity of people leaving their checks. Now I hate it that the bitch in me comes out at times like this...but it did. and it was echoed by the 25 minutes after we finally received our drinks where we sat and the three little bitches in each of us came out. So, after much debating back and forth we left our table with the parton shot downed and cup set a top of the nursed PBR bottle and a full woodchuck, $22.00...which didn't even come close to covering our drinks and a tip.
TS baby... a note that read:

" NOT WHAT
I
ORDERED!

1 bottle PBR
(-) OJ
(-) Cran
(-) Shot of Amaretto

PLUS, 1 shot of Patron
(-) a lime
WHO DOES THAT?"

all and all, I had a great night. I got to know Brad better! I got to spend time with my old and new friend Roby. I got to see a couple that's wonderfully open and very much in love and learning what that's all about.
What I now appreciate most about Bradly is his attention to details and his honesty. 1-5, you rule the table and good luck with the job hunting...you're still a better tar bender than I am!
What I aprreciate most about Robyn is her intelligence and desire to KNOW, interwoven with a healthy amount of openness and curiosity. Here's to you finding a church or a place in which you can have your academia challenged with faith every week!
Love them, and if I learn anytime soon how to upload pics from my phone, I will post the pic I took of them for you all to bask in their beauty.
