surfacing i find myself back where i began.
the world above me looks the same.
the sun is still burning it's gases as we move in orbit 'round it.
the air that filled my lungs yesterday is the exact air that's refreshing them now.
but something in me is different.
maybe from what I saw.
from what I experienced below.
the world underneath.
the world unseen.
inventory went really well.
taking stock.
learned a lot.
made some changes on things that weren't bringing growth and revenue.
made the appropriate slash marks, decisions about what will need to checked again at a later date.
numbers counted
sumations created.
reports handed in.
results...
down there, the darkness can seem unpenetrateable, but it's not.
the buddy system works.
the temperature goes from hot to cold and back again.
it's hard to keep a calm mind about you.
the water flows better when you surrender to it.
the fish are gorgeous at all levels.
the algae and coral keep up their constant fight.
it's a world I struggle to understand.
a world I need to know about.
a world that helps me understand my present.
my world under the sea.

Is that an inside joke or is someone making fun of you?
I'll cut em, I warn ya.
I'm not sure why a person would quote Prince on my blog and remain anonymous. (It's from the song, Let's Go Crazy!) I love the man. So, is it an inside joke? Not that I'm aware of.
Is it someone calling me crazy? Perhaps and that's ok cause a little nuttiness is nothing to fear.
Is it someone making fun of me? Who knows, but I share what I share cause I love to write. And I thought of how clever of an analogy scuba diving and taking inventory of my life are. I think I shall try to write it again, with more description and with more clarity. For my sake...and for the readers sake.
And if you are the fan of the artist formerly known as Prince and you'd love to explain yourself...please feel free. Clarity is always a great thing in my book!
