Adam sang these lines to me on the way into the library and it struck a cord in my soul. Kathy Craig said it a little differently to me once and it has never left me. I think it's because I didn't believe it. UNTIL NOW...
There is something stirring in my soul.
This is a quote I repeat often. When something is coming forth from the depths. I am starting to feel more like myself again. It's like I'm coming around the edge of the circle of life and seeing things a little more clearly.
Yesterday was a great day. Full of hard hard stuff and good posts. After posting, I made a silly silly invite to all my friends that work at Willow. "Lunch anyone?" was was it was called. I invited all 15-20 of them for lunch in the atrium at 11:30. It should be a lot of fun and it felt like something Kristen would do, ya know?
And then I had some real hard sadness come up. I missed Jimmy. And I was in this place where all I could do was drive. But, I believe I am entering the desires of my heart. Re-engaging with them on a very real level. Making decisions that are GOOD for me and not because of others. Feeling strong because I am weak. Asking for help. All the things I have learned are now being put into practice. Well, at least starting to be.
Do you know how pretty it is in Barrington when it snows? Sheesh...it's gorgeous. And the trees are all covered with icicles (sp?) and the ground is crunchy. And I have to go pick up pizza's for my Big'O'Lunch with everyone! Thanks for your love yesterday kids. Being needy ain't all that bad. I'm an EGR girl!!! YEAH!!

Do you read ALL of your comments?
Sara S -
Oh, Adam. I love him. Not like I love Bono. But I do love Adam.
Hey anon. I do read ALL of my comments. Curious as to why you ask.
Of course I remember serving with you.
So are you in Denver, moving to Denver, when, why, how?
Have you considered Fort Collins? It rocks here. I am pretty darn sure that the Holy Spirit is up to something, and there's a very long story as to why I think that. But that story starts in South Barrington.
My email is on my site, let me know your plans. And if you come out, bring Eve, Kathy, Jill, and everyone else with you!
