A tribute to Black Dog...and to words...and self-discovery...and sweet pea

BLACK DOG:
I thought I knew who you were...
"and then,"
I was mistaken. Might it be possible for you to reveal yourself to me?

WORDS:
Ever sat with a dictionary at a bar?
And looked up every word you didn't really know the meaning of...like unsophisticated? Or conndrum? It's a really good time, if you're a word person, but even if you aren't, here's some advice from a guy I used to bar hop with.
"Keep a dictionary on the back of your toliet. And when you spend a significant amount of time there, choose a word and learn it. Read the one after it, and before it."
I long to use better words to describe my life, my thoughts. I'm taking this advice. And next time you're at the homestead, check out the back of my toliet and learn a thing or two and share it with me!

SELF-DISCOVERY:
Every day I discover more and more of who I am. And honestly sometimes things aren't all that interesting and other times they can shock me. Then, there are times like today, when things that are obvious, repeatedly shock me. Like how immeshed I get with people. And how in love I am with the human race. How easily someone new gets under my skin and becomes the object of my affection and my attention. Moving into these things is such a fasinating journey.

SWEET PEA: Koodos to my BFF sweet pea today. Thanks and Peace out babay!

I long to be near you, my dear friend who takes the time to think of me too. I love you.

Your gut is never mistaken,
once you realize this you'll know.
Clues small as they may be
will start to show.

Take the advice as you know can
Pick and choose them as grains of sand
Separate yourself from your fears
And suck up all those beautiful tears

Good Luck
God Bless,

Na. Black Dog is not Jay. It's got to be someone else. My gut: JLG. But if I am wrong...somebody has me by the balls cause then I am rendered clueless. So thanks Black Dog for your poetic clues and if by chance I am dealing with someone other than my x, perhaps this saying will once again ring loudly in my ears, "one day you'll figure it out."

Kristen,

I assure you that I am not posting ridiculious messages on your blog under the name 'Black Dog'. To be honest, I have neither the time nor the patients...and would never waste yours either.
