Ok, so what is love? Today is one day out of the year where we choose to set aside time to tell people we love them. SO, to all of you out there that know it already, but I want to make sure you do...I LOVE YOU!
But seriously folks, what is love? I will not choose today to get into the theological, philisophical or emotional arguements. I choose today to tell a story.
I am sick. I have what I like to call a horrible cough cold stupid thing. It's invading all parts of my respitory system. So, yesterday I was laying in bed and I called my mom. I told her I really wanted her to come over and stroak my head so I could fall asleep. My mom though, went way above this. She went to the Jewel for me. And 3 hours later, as I was waiting for her, she calls and says..."I'm sorry I'm so late hunny, but I went home and MADE YOU SOME HOMEMADE SOUP."
Now ladies and gents, that is love. She went home, took 3 hours out of her day, and made me homemade soup.
What a love story!
I hope today and always, you know to the depths of who you are, that you are loved.
Cause guess what? YOU ARE.
