where have I been? I've been working.
shoot. Have I ever....
The new Emmett's opened in Palatine, Illinois last Monday!
Things have been going really well, but I also broke my big toe. I dropped a bread pan on it. It hurt like a Biz$ but it's ok now. Nothing to do but wait around.
I totally can walk though, and was privaledged enough this past weekend to attend one wedding of the Jill Parman and Joel Rockford. It was a phenomenal evening full of love and seriously fantastic people. I got to see my old girls Ashby and Kim. I got to flirt with Jill's very sexy, incredibly intelligent 23 year old cousin. (classic wedding flirting!) I got to play wedding planner again. And I was re-reminded of how much fun this can be and how good I seem to be at it. Mr. Cook says it could be a future job possibility for me! Now all I need to figure out is how to get paid to do it. Maybe I could go into business with Mrs. Gavula?!?!?!!! She's amazing with that kind of stuff! SO many possibilities, so little time.
um, yeah...I also made out with a man since I last blogged. It was a lot of fun and simple. He's all about no kissing and telling, but to that I say, rubbish. More to come on that topic later in the week. I saw the movie Hitch with my friend meghan. SO Good! Loved the thought of being able to help people gain the confidence needed to go after what they want. Wonder if one day I'll ever put that into action myself? Or if all these things will come together into some sort of dream position?!?!?!?! Psychologist/wedding planner/beauty consultant/dating guru/confidence builder/helper of sorts. HMMMMM?
I love what's going on in the life of my best friend kate and one day I will too, be the girl I have always dreamed of being. Be the woman who does what she says and loves herself deeply and loves others truly and is real and true and bold and daring. So many parts of self are there. So many are yet to come. I just know it's coming...and today, more than ever, I just celebrate life and the journey of being and becoming.
