A story that is a rip off the tale of Scrooge.
It's about people giving up on their dreams, their hopes, their desires.
I will work on it and maybe post it on here soon.
But before I go do that, I find myself wanting to wish the world a song like the Coca-Cola commercial does.
(BTW: have you seen the newest version of this. To me, this song, rewritten or not will never get old. It speaks of coming together, harmony and beauty restored and i.heart.it.)
Ok so back from the tangent.
I'd like to give everyone who has ever given up on a dream, let go of a desire or lost hope something to ponder today.
It's not done. The last chapter has not yet been written. There is always room for one more dream, one more hope, one more desire to be filled, acheived or had. I, the fantastic eternal optimist really do believe this to be truth. And I want to gift it on Amazon for free. I want to send wake up calls tomorrow morning that sing, "BELIEVE WORLD! Today could be a day that is filled with glorious surprises." I want to smile and pass it on. I want to see more achievment in personal victories than ever before. I know from experience that it is not always an easy road. It's not always fun. I know there are outside influences that we have no control over that can keep us stuck. I know that there is pain that can keep us in the rut. I know these things all too well, but I also KNOW that they can be overcome.
I guess my hope, my hearts desire today is to re-light one persons personal fire. The deep inner part that screams....YES, at the sliver of moon high in the sky. That ember that remembers what it's like to breathe and be fully alive.
Burn baby burn...

Thanks. I needed to hear that today.
Be well yourself. Sorry to hear about the boy.
"Every part of Fantasia--each one, is a piece of the dreams of Mankind. It has no boundaries...People have begun to loose their hopes, and forget their dreams. The emptiness and despair are destroying this world. Those with no hopes are easy to control. Whoever has the control, has the power."
Then Atreyu tells Gamalk that he is the warrior he seeks. They battle and Atreyu wins. But the land is destroyed. And Atreyu goes back to the princess to apologize for the failure. The princess tells Atreyu that he has not failed. There is one grain of sand left of Fantasia. The person he has searched for has been reading the story of Fantasia in a book.
Bastian realizes that he is the one. He has become part of the neverending story. All he has to do is give the princess a new name. Of course he hesitates, because he has to keep his feet on the ground. After some persuasion, he agrees, names the princess and saves Fantasia. The princess tells Bastian, "Fantasia can rise in you...through your dreams and hopes. All you have to do is make a wish...The more wishes you make, the more Fantasia will grow."
"Call My Name"
That ember that remembers what it's like to breathe and be fully alive... that re-kindles the hope in my heart, my dear Kristen Alexis. I am glad that you have remembered that "hope floats". Your post was just what I needed today. I.Heart.You
