2006: A New Year

My apologies to the blog world...friends...family...and whomever frequents my blog. I have been MIA...seriously MIA from blogging.
So here's a update:

* Every Monday I have been in a painting class with old ladies and my aunt. I am learning a lot and it's very peaceful. Plus it's a chance to get in to town and go out to lunch and run errands every week. My Aunt Sally and I have really enjoied taking it together but she says I'm the class star now so it's not as fun.

* Weather here has kept us all asking questions? When will it snow? Will the snow stick around? I hear it has something to do with the Poles moving. Apparently our latitude has shifted. We are now lower than we were years ago. Gotta do some research on this topic. Results to follow...

* I start school this coming Monday. Taking 2 classes at the local community college. Continuing to work towards my AA and then on to bigger and better things. Can't wait to be in school again! Another chance to meet people and share ideas and use this brain God gave me. Saving towards hair school. Hopefully can begin around September!

* My sister is preggers again. It should prove to be an interesting summer with her belly being big and having a busy busy season. Look forward to knowing the sex. Maybe we'll have a little girl to play dressup and dolls with!

* New Years was awesome!! I will update pictures as soon as I find my USB Cable. I went 4 by'n all day with friends up at one of their homes. It was snowy but warm...sun shining all day and SO MUCH FUN!!! They set up a hide and seek course with airplane bottles of alcohol tied to trees and hidden in stumps and a big center area with a bonfire fuled by a propane tank blower and a bar set up in the back of an old run down abandonded truck. It was so different, but a great day. That night, I sang Kareoke (my fav), served tables and partied with the gang at The Hilltop! Ended the night with a good old fashioned drunk dial session. I think I called 12 people in all!!

* Died my hair red.
* Lost 2 more lbs.
* Going skiing this weekend again with Ian! (pics to follow)
* Trying to keep up on people...promise to call or write an e-mail soon!
Over and out....gotta jet to work.
Resolutions...past reflections coming soon to a computer near you....
