that's right kids...
I began school again two days ago.
Flathead Valley Community College-Fuvacaca to the locals and I am loving it. It's so great to be back in that environment.
And to have reached a place in my life where I was able to pay for my classes and books by myself, pay all my bills for this month and still have money that's going towards savings. Oh the joys af adulthood.
I laughed this morning at 3:00 am while talking to David when he said, "people don't have to be esteemed for every little small thing that they do." Why this is imparitive to this conversation is because lately, I am constantly celebrating little successes. Going back to school is a small but great success in my journey right now. After talking with my advisor,(who happens to be my Sociology Prof and who rocks my socks off), I found out I can be done with my Associates of Science degree by the end of 2006!!! Hip Hip Hooray!
In other news...I joined the local library. It's nothing like BPL but it's comment worthy. I miss the days of looking down the asile and seeing MEGHAN and/or
VIVIAN giggiling or listening to music. SHOUT OUT TO YOU GIRLS IN DENVER!!! Love you, miss you more than you could know.
I am figuring out that this move to Montana is not only a good one for me, it is a great one. Friends, family and unwanted observers alike have told me in the past that I should get out of Illinois. There were times I listened, and left because "you" said so, but now, this time, it was my decision and you know what...it feels great. To be making the kind of decisions I have always wanted to make but have struggled to. To be choosing to love Kristen because I am fully loved. To be in it...as fully as I can and remain there, struggling, passionatly. A article in Oprah today said something about the two dials in our lives that we turn...one is Pain Avoidance and the other is Willingness to Struggle. Thanks be to the 3 that the dials are in the correct places.
Kristen...over and out.
